    I agree with all the comments on your blog about sports parellel with Association operation. I would add one more…. just like physical fitness, it requires a routine to maintain the current status….

    If you don’t take care of the basic operations and employees, or maintain a routine to keep fit, both the body and the organization will atrophy over time.

      Thanks for the comment Peggy. You are right on track. In fact, the second installment of this fitness/productivity blog post (currently in draft form) has a header titled “Plan, Plan, Plan” which adresses your point.
